I'm a biophysics MD-PhD candidate at UCSF focused on engineering bacteriophages for various therapeutic purposes, ranging from antibiotic resistant infection treatment, to mitochondrial editing and mammalian cell delivery. My background is in synthetic biology, protein design, microbiology, and immunology, and my goals include advancing phage as a novel therapeutic modality, as well as developing new, more efficient methods of exploring biological fitness landscapes.
