Guus Gerritsen is an accomplished global business leader with more than three decades of experience spanning manufacturing, supply chain, biotechnology, and specialty ingredients. Guus currently serves as Managing Director of MANE Ingredients USA.He oversees operations across two specialized U.S. facilities located in North Carolina and Wisconsin. Each site plays a distinct role in MANE’s broader manufacturing and innovation ecosystem. The North Carolina facility focuses on agricultural operations, extraction, purification, and drying processes, while the Wisconsin site specializes in fermentation, bioconversions, and advanced biotechnology practices. Fermentation and bioconversion are central to Gerritsen’s operational footprint at MANE, where controlled microbial fermentation and enzyme- or microbe-driven biotransformation convert renewable feedstocks into high-value aroma, flavor, and nutraceutical intermediates, followed by downstream purification/crystallization to meet tight specifications for consistency, safety, and performance at commercial scale. Prior to joining MANE, Guus held several senior leadership roles at Ashland. As General Manager Personal Care and Home Care business and Global VP Home and Oral Care.Guus began his career with Kao Chemicals Europe, where he spent nearly two decades in supply chain and procurement leadership roles.
