Amy Trejo

Amy Trejo received her BSc. in Biology from Smith College in Northampton, MA and PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. She began her career with The Procter & Gamble Company in Cincinnati, OH in 1998 and has gone on to become a proven innovation leader with over 25 years of experience in the consumer goods industry. She is skilled in product innovation, R&D, fast-moving consumer goods, open innovation and product development. In her career at P&G she has worked across a variety of categories and functions with focus in Life Sciences in service of P&G’s Health & Beauty focused businesses. She has contributed to the development of products supporting brands such as Olay, H&S, Pantene and Align. She currently holds the position of Director, Hair Care Sustainability, where she leads R&D teams in the development of superior beauty products and technologies that are sustainable.
