Stephen is a Partner in the Planetary Health Investments team of Novo Holdings, which he joined in 2022. At Novo Holdings he leads investments into companies across Agriculture, Food, Energy, Materials and other Planetary sectors like urbanization. Prior to joining Novo Holdings, Stephen spent over 5 years developing new products, partnerships, and businesses at The Production Board as an EIR, and Zymergen where he led the teams covering sectors including Agriculture, Food and Packaging as well as Business Development. He previously worked with McKinsey and Company as an Associate Partner across several sectors and geographies. Stephen holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
