Dr. Leonardo Magneschi holds a PhD in Plant and Microbial Biotechnology and has over 15 years’ experience in microbiology and the genetic engineering of alternative hosts for the recombinant expression of challenging proteins. He currently leads an integrated team of molecular biologists, bioprocess development scientists, and analytical chemists, advancing world-class biotechnology solutions across agritech, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, biofuels, food and beverages, and renewable materials. Leonardo joined Ingenza in 2016 and, in his role as Vice President of Research and Technology Development, strategically advances the company’s biotechnology platform. He has authored 17 peer-reviewed publications and is listed as an inventor on five international patents.
