Adam Jones
Adam is Vice President of Business Development for L’Oréal Research & Innovation in North America. He brings a strong track record of building partnerships with entrepreneurs, startups, investors, executives, researchers, and engineers to accelerate emerging technologies to market. Since joining L’Oréal in 2014, Adam has led efforts to identify and develop innovative collaborations with startups and design business models for global technology partnerships. He oversees strategic business development initiatives with partners like Verily Life Sciences, spanning a wide range of projects.His expertise includes synthetic biology, digital health, regenerative beauty, anti-aging, microbiomes, wearables, and personalized cosmetics. In collaboration with L’Oréal’s Open Innovation team, he supports licensing, acquisitions, and equity investments in cutting-edge technologies. He also serves as a Board Observer for Debut Bio. Prior to L’Oréal, Adam worked as a life sciences attorney, co-founded a tech startup, and served in tech transfer, helping bring groundbreaking research to the market. He holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
