Beth Ellikidis

Beth Ellikidis serves as Vice President, Agriculture & Environment for the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO). Beth is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the development of policy, advocacy, and communications strategies on behalf of BIO's membership in the innovative biotech, agricultural, environmental, and industrial sectors. Her work centers on promoting a productive legislative environment that supports innovation to secure the food supply, advance sustainable technologies and foster continued growth of the bioeconomy.

Prior to joining BIO, Beth served as the Head, U.S. Public Affairs for Zoetis, the largest global animal health pharmaceutical company, Director of Public Policy for the National Corn Growers Association, and Director of Legislative Affairs for the National Grain and Feed Association. Earlier in her career, Beth worked on Capitol Hill in legislative roles supporting several congressional representatives.

 

Beth attended George Mason University for her undergraduate studies and earned her Master's degree in Political Management from the George Washington University.  Beth grew up on a dairy farm that still operates in central Virginia, and currently resides in Washington, D.C.
