Markus Schreyer is a seasoned global executive, biotech entrepreneur, and impact investor with more than three decades of international experience spanning Europe, the U.S., Brazil, and Asia. As the Managing Partner and Founder of The Ganesha Lab, he is on a mission to transform cutting-edge biotech innovations from Latin America into global health solutions that improve millions of lives. His organization has supported and scaled more than 25 pre-seed and seed-stage biotech startups across six countries seven of which have successfully expanded into the U.S. market. With an extensive background in the life sciences industry, including senior leadership roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Fisons Instruments, Markus is no stranger to strategic transitions and product innovation. His unique approach blends deep operational expertise with a passion for nurturing early-stage science-driven ventures. Through The Ganesha Lab and its companion investment arm, The Ganesha Fund, Markus delivers a powerful combination of funding, internationalization strategy, and hands-on mentorship to biotech founders tackling some of the world's biggest healthcare challenges. A former board member of Chile Global Angels and current director at LatAm Startups and ArcomedLab, Markus is a connector, mentor, and thought leader driving the next wave of global biotech innovation.
