Richard is the Managing Partner and Founder of AIX Ventures and CEO/Founder of you.com. Richard previously served as the Chief Scientist and EVP at Salesforce, where he lead teams working on fundamental research, applied research, product incubation, search, customer service automation and a cross-product AI platform for unstructured and structured data. Before that, Richard was the CEO/CTO of AI startup MetaMind, acquired by Salesforce in 2016. Richard received his Ph. D. in computer science at Stanford University in 2014 and later served as an adjunct professor in the CS department at Stanford. Outside of work, Richard enjoys paramotor adventures and photography.

This invite-only luncheon brings together a curated group of senior leaders driving the convergence of AI and BioPharma. Joining the conversation are Sandy Pentland, a pioneer in data science and professor at MIT; Richard Socher, CEO of You.com and former Chief Scientist at Salesforce; Simon Kohl, Co-Founder and CEO of Latent Labs; and Nabiha Saklayen, Co-Founder and CEO of Cellino.
