I am a genome engineer at Colossal Biosciences bringing over a decade of experience in genetics, genomics, and gene editing. I received my Ph.D. from Duke University in 2017 using gene editing to study nervous system development. As a postdoc, I studied rare human genetic diseases using model organisms. I now work to innovate genome engineering techniques to restore species through de-extinction.
