Vesna Mitchell is an accomplished enzyme engineer and leader in developing commercially viable solutions for the life science, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and biotherapeutics industries. Prior to establishing Syngeneering Bio Consulting, she was VP of Protein Engineering at Codexis where she was instrumental in developing and optimizing the CodeEvolver technology, spearheading numerous customer-facing projects and complex technology transfer programs, and bridging R&D with commercial and business development teams. She is a named inventor on over 20 patents. Vesna holds a B. Sc./M. Sc. in Genetics from the University of Belgrade and a PhD in Evolutionary Biology from Michigan State University.
