Speaker
Aly Jackson is a Business Development Leader at Genentech/Roche. In this role, she leads diligence efforts and strategic deal discussions with potential partners to advance collaborations in drug discovery and development. Her primary focus is on platform partnerships that enable innovation in areas such as drug delivery, small molecule therapeutics, and target discovery. Prior to her current role, Aly was a Human Factors Engineer in Device Development at Genentech, where she supported the design and development of combination products, including large on-body injectors, autoinjectors, and pre-filled syringes. She's also held diverse roles across Genentech's Pharma Technical organization, including manufacturing, regulatory, and Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT). Aly received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Bioengineering from UCLA, as well as an MBA from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. Outside of work, she enjoys playing soccer, mountain biking, and traveling across the U. S. to explore national parks.
