Karam Pichara is one of the founders and the CTO at NotCo. He is a former Computer Science professor at UC Chile. Before founding NotCo, his work was to develop Machine Learning algorithms that analyze Telescopes' databases to assist astronomers in discovering the Universe. In 2015, he created the first version of Giuseppe, the AI system that allows NotCo to create unprecedented plant-based products. Giuseppe has helped NotCo to launch groundbreaking plant-based products, such as the NotMilk, NotBurger, NotChicken, NotMayo, NotIceCream, and many others, across various countries at unprecedented speeds. NotCo is not alone in believing in Giuseppe's potential. Kraft Heinz has partnered up with NotCo to create their future plant-based portfolio. Also, NotCo is trusted by top investors (Series A->D) like Kaszek Ventures, Bezos Expedition, The Craftory, L-Catterton, and Future Positive and endorsed by celebrities like Roger Federer and Lewis Hamilton. Today, Karim is in charge of all the technology and Intellectual Property development at NotCo, a group formed by AI and Software Engineers, Research Chefs, and Food Scientists, all working together to push the boundaries of technology and science to enable the foods of the future.
