Dr Licen Lisa Xu, is a Senior Advisor of Tailwinds Venture, Chief Commercial Officer of FlashDx Inc, and an independent Board Member for Ribbon BioLab & Burning Rock Biotech. She was Vice President at Roche Diagnostics for NGS Sequencing systems, VP of Enterprise Informatics at Illumina, and General Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Licen is a multi-disciplined leader with extensive experience in managing businesses and products, including business operations, strategic marketing, product and P&L management. Her current focus is in servicing startup companies, with product strategy and commercialization effort, leveraging her over 20 years experience in life science/MedTech. She is also coaching entrepreneurs the product development process from concept to commercialization. Licen earned her bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Master's Degree of Biophysics from Tsinghua University, Beijing. She obtained her Ph. D of Molecular Biology at University of Zurich, Switzerland. She earned Aresty Scholar at Wharton School.
