Linda Bedenik
Linda joined the BIA in 2021 to lead on engineering biology, deep biotech and intellectual property. She works closely with the BIA’s Engineering Biology Advisory Committee (EBAC) to shape UK policy in the field, with a focus on commercialisation challenges and engineering biology’s potential as a disruptive biotechnology towards global sustainability. Prior to joining BIA, Linda worked as an analyst in university-business collaboration and knowledge exchange in the UK, and as a researcher at a public policy-focused think tank identifying challenges to state-level public service delivery in India. Linda has a MA in Global Political Economy from the University of Sussex.
