I am a biotech innovator with a strong drive and a track record of technical leadership, facility design and management, and collaboration on multifunctional teams. My expertise in biotechnology is dedicated to transforming patient care and advancing scientific knowledge. As a dynamic and effective communicator, I am a recognized industry expert for the design and manufacturing of nucleic acid therapeutics. My education is in genetics and genomics, with my 2 PhDs covering the comparative and functional genomics of RNA modification. Our goal was to functionally annotate genes of unknown function, and then propagate those annotations thought-out all public gene and genome databases. My professional experience involves empowering industry leaders and innovators to drive success. Through my career, I have worked in QA, analytical testing, drug design, pharmaceutical manufacturing, building businesses, and executive leadership. I started as the hands-on analyst and then grew to designing and implementing strategic visions. I have worked building startups where I was the second hire to working for large multinational companies.
