Alfred co-founded DeSci London, a community aiming to desilo academic research and enhance a new form of networked science by utilising web3 tools. He is also a PhD candidate at Imperial College London where his research focuses on the intersection of Synthetic Biology and AI. He is passionate about moving the bioeconomy forward through Live Sciences: An open infrastructure project combining IoT sensors, bioreactor livestreaming, and AI interfaces to improve reproducibility and access in science.
