I’m a Bioengineer with over 10 years blending protein engineering, single-molecule biosensor development, and AI optimization. My doctoral research at UC Merced created high-performance fluorescent biosensors with sub-millisecond response times. At Fluxergy, I led assay development for point-of-care diagnostics, and at xAI I helped train Grok by building AI-driven protein pipelines and applying RLHF.

As Co-Founder of BreakDown Bio, I’m leading the mission to convert methane into high-value proteins for in situ resource utilization and in-space manufacturing with NASA. In partnership with Sandia National Labs and backed by NSF, I’m thrilled to translate synthetic biology and AI into scalable solutions.
