Harmon Bhasin is the CTO and co-founder of TwentyTwo, building AI infrastructure for biosecurity. He received his BS in computer science from UW-Madison. During his undergrad, he became convinced biosecurity was critically underserved and pivoted toward computational biology, developing machine learning methods for single-cell genomics. After graduating, he joined SecureBio, where he prototyped a blood-based biosurveillance system and built a viral metagenomic sequencing pipeline processing billions of reads. Convinced that biosecurity needed far more AI, he left to found TwentyTwo. He aims to build integrated biosecurity solutions that share information to create layered, overlapping defense against biological threats.
