Estonia-born Anton Puzorjov is a scientist-founder and PhD researcher based in Edinburgh, Scotland. He founded Quas Drinks, a fermented soft drinks company built on a 180-year-old sourdough starter, which has won back-to-back International Great Taste Awards and reached commercial retail scale. He navigated the full journey from lab fermentation to shelf-stable consumer product and scale-up.

Anton is now developing a synbio upgrade to Quas's core process, engineering biology to turn excess sugar into fibre. This targets the GLP-1 pathway through a scalable consumer format, positioning Quas as a precision fermentation platform for metabolic health, not just a beverage brand.
