Chi Zhang, Ph.D., is the co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of GT Biosciences, a Cambridge-based biotech company developing next-generation delivery systems for genetic medicines. Trained in protein chemistry and bioconjugation, he has over a decade of research experience, more than 30 peer-reviewed publications, and multiple issued patents. At GT Bio, Chi leads the development of Deliveromics, an AI-powered, high-throughput in vivo screening platform for cell-type-specific delivery, with a focus on ligand-conjugated lipid nanoparticles. His work aims to overcome key challenges in targeted delivery, particularly to the brain, enabling more precise and effective genetic therapies.
