Michael studied CS and chemistry at Stanford before leading software development for AI PCB design at Quilter. He's now finishing his PhD at UNC's Eshelman School of Pharmacy. His work combines ML and physics simulations to enable computational drug discovery for novel target classes that pure ML approaches can't generalize to. He's currently spinning out Langevin Labs to use this technology to find small molecule therapeutics for these "undruggable" targets.
