Robbie is an Irish native based in San Diego who helps lead the 10,000+ member Bits in Bio community. He's worked across biotech's full stack: VC, product strategy, bioinformatics, and AI engineering, with a background in physics and a relentless first-principles approach to solving complex problems.

He believes synthetic biology represents the most powerful platform humanity has ever had for programming living systems, and that we've barely scratched the surface of what's possible in the brain. His mission is to develop and deliver medicines to patients faster, especially for brain disease.
