I started my biotech journey focused on building a blood-based diagnostics tool, characterizing protein variants (proteoforms) via 2D-gel electrophoresis, correlating health status to biomarkers circulating in the blood. After a co-founder split, I returned to academia.

I focused on heart transplant protocols, extending heart viability outside of the human body. Our team made use of mitochondrial protective methodologies and mitochondrial grafts to extend clinical viability on ex vivo heart perfusion.

Currently, I sit as the Executive Vice President of Partnerships at Nucleate as a volunteer leader working with the Executive Director. I am a Venture Manager at Creative destruction Lab-Toronto for AI and Neuro.
