I'm a postdoc at the University of Oxford with a background in synthetic biology and control engineering. In collaboration with Harvard, we built the Long Term Evolution Machine (LTEM). The LTEM automates and optimises microbial evolution - its unique ability to control evolutionary parameters allows us to quickly achieve globally fit phenotypes. We partner with companies to make their bioprocesses better: reduced COGS, increased titre/rate/yield, alternative feedstock utilisation, improved DSP, improved robustness, and more, bringing microbes from the bench to scale. Our pilot with biopesticide startup Bugbiome led a to 27x reduction in their media costs and increased yield. We're currently assembling 15 more machines. Come work with us!
