Yesh is a Ph.D. student at UC San Diego developing high-throughput screening and machine learning approaches toward building the virtual cell. Originally from Dallas, TX, he completed his bachelor's in biomedical engineering/CS at Duke. His current research focuses on single-cell genomics and CRISPR/peptide-based perturbation assays in human pluripotent stem cells. He aspires to build a company that generates high-resolution combinatorial screening data to power AI-driven drug discovery.
