Zachary Asarnow is the co-founder and CEO of Esperance Healthcare, a biotechnology startup developing engineered microbes for metabolic conditions. He recently (May 2nd!) graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Economics and a minor in STEM Entrepreneurship. He was the Entrepreneurship Lead on FSU's 2024 iGEM team and spent college focused on science, entrepreneurship, and healthcare innovation. His work centers on translating promising technologies from academic research into practical solutions that can improve patients’ lives. Through Esperance, Zachary is advancing new approaches in synthetic biology and microbiome engineering while working to help move life-changing technologies from the lab into the real world.
